Recording Your Presentation
-
Prepare an oral presentation using PowerPoint slides. The slides must be prepared in English, but the presentation can be done in English or your native language (if this has already been communicated to us).
-
Record your presentation by following the instructions below:

In Chinese (䏿–‡): Click here
-
Ensure that you use a desktop version of PowerPoint and you have a microphone.
-
Ensure that the "Slide and animation timings" and "Narrations, ink, and laser pointer" options remain checked before you start recording.
-
PowerPoint doesn't record audio or video during transitions between slides, so don't speak while advancing the slide.

Files To Upload
-
Two presentation videos:
-
The first video is an “Abstract Presentation” based on a single slide summarizing your research findings. This presentation must be kept within one to two minutes.
-
The second video is a “Full Presentation” based on your complete slideset, which should not only include the contents of your research (i.e. from previous conference abstracts or posters), but also the implications of your findings and reference to previous research (if any). This presentation must be kept within eight to ten minutes.
-
-
A digital photo of yourself. After our editing, your photo will remain unaltered and placed beside the videos.
-
A short curriculum vitae (CV) of yourself.
-
A brief summary about your research (optional). This must be written in English and kept within 500 words.
Best Practices For The Presentation
-
Keep your slides straightforward and clutter-free.
-
Greet the audience and introduce yourself.
-
Grab the audience’s attention early by presenting the value of your research.
